Christine Fruth Otto, 51, of Victoria, Texas, and formerly of St. Peter, Minn., died at the Citizens Medical Center in Victoria on Aug. 13, 2011. Her body has been cremated and a graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at the Calvary Cemetery in St. Peter. Burial will follow the service.

Christine was born in St. Paul on Feb. 27, 1960, the daughter of Vincent and Lorraine (Lorge) Fruth. Graduating from Southwest State University in Marshall, with a degree in marketing, she worked as a manager of women’s clothing and shoe stores in Minnesota.

She is survived by her parents, Vincent and Lorraine Fruth of Boone, Iowa; a daughter, Amanda Otto and husband, Bill Carls of Chetek, Wis.; two sons, Tony Otto and wife Anna of Austin, Minn., and Adam Otto of Eau Claire, Wis.; a sister, Catherine Johnson and husband Richard of Nevada, Iowa; and six grandchildren.
