Ribbon cutting galore for local businesses

Chamber ambassadors celebrated the Grand Opening of Hy-Vee/Caribou Coffee, Aug. 8, with a ribbon cutting in the new store. One of 500 Caribou Coffee outlets nationwide, Austin’s store is the first to partner directly with Hy-Vee Foods. Chamber Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting ceremony at Gymocha, Aug. 2. Located across from Riverland at 1300 14th Street NW, Gymocha offers breakfast and lunch menus, including coffees, teas, smoothies, sandwiches and bakery items. Owners Cynthia and Russell Pihlstrom and their children, Caleb and Isabella, are pictured at center with the scissors.
Tram: Chamber Ambassadors joined Austin officials in welcoming MS TRAM “Ride Across Minnesota” to Austin’s Todd Park, July 26. A variety of activities were organized for the 850 participants at the park and throughout the community by the Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau. Schieck Family Dentistry: Chamber Ambassadors welcomed new member Schieck Family Dentistry to the Chamber at their new facility, located at 607 18th Ave. NW. Dr. Schieck has been practicing family dentistry in Austin since 1990. Pictured at center is Dr. Joel Schieck and his staff.
Integrity Real Estate: Ambassadors welcomed Austin’s newest real estate firm to the Chamber with a ribbon cutting ceremony at Integrity Real Estate. Located next to Steve Justice State Farm Insurance along 14th Street NW, Integrity is owned by Casey Hatch, center. Other staff members include Chris Ohm, Karen Baldridge, Mary Morem and Bob Remker (not pictured).
