The Riverland volleyball team lost its opening match of the season by scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-19 against Dakota County Technical College in Eagan Friday.

Cassie Masberg had 12 kills and 18 digs, Robin Arjes had nine kills and five blocks, Brittney Dahl had 23 set assists and Brooke Coughlin had 13 digs for the Blue Devils (0-1 overall).
