The Austin volleyball team lost its season opener at Farmington by scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-11 Tuesday.

Jenna Svoboda had eight assists for the Packers (0-1 overall), while Haley Underwood had five kills and one block, Babaye Oja had one kill and four ace blocks, and Jocelyn Sheehan had two ace serves.
