Neal Scott Johnson, 45, faces three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. According to court documents, the victim reported the abuse to police July 30.

The victim told police Johnson had abused her since 2003, when she was five years old. She told police that in 2004, Johnson forced her to perform oral sex on him in her bedroom at least four times a month. In 2005, the sexual encounters continued, according to the complaint. In addition, Johnson allegedly attempted various forms of sexual penetration in 2006.

The victim told police the abuse would occur at least four to five times a month, but over time happened around 10 times a month. The last sexual encounter was July 16, she told officers.

Johnson was arrested and transported to Mower County Jail, where he declined to be interviewed by police. He is still in jail pending $750,000 bail.

Johnson’s jury trial is scheduled to begin Oct. 24 with Judge Donald Rysavy presiding.
