The Hayfield Heat saw their season come to an end as it lost 5-1 to Miltona in the second round of the Class ‘C’ amateur baseball tournament in Browntown Saturday.

The Heat (17-12 overall) had just five hits, but they did draw seven walks as a team.

“We had plenty of chances, but could not come up with a big hit as we left eight runners in scoring position,” Hayfield manager Kasey Krekling said.
