Darrel Dean Briggs, 66, of Worthington, died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Marianne Briggs of Worthington, Minn.; children, Rhonda (Paul) Besel of Austin, Darla Hammel and special friend Kevin Kautz of Zumbro Falls, Minn., and Chan Briggs (Tiffany Scott) of Worthington; six grandchildren; sister, Sandra (Rod) Poppema of Worthington; a niece, two nephews and many cousins.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. The Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the American Lutheran Church in Worthington with Pastor Liz Radtke officiating. Burial of the cremains will be at Hillside Cemetery in Lake Wilson, Minn.
