Tourism meeting slated for Wednesday

The Southern Minnesota Tourism Association (SMTA) bi-monthly meeting will convene in Austin July 20-21.

On Wednesday, July 20, the group’s marketing committee will meet to discuss this fall’s target marketing publications. Members will meet Wednesday morning and have lunch at Ruby’s Place restaurant, then will be given an city tour by the Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau staff.

On Wednesday evening, members will dine at the Old Mill, and then enjoy the Dallas Clark/Amanda Corey Country Show at the Paramount Theatre at 7:30 p.m.

The SMTA business meeting will be held on Thursday, July 21, at the Hormel Historic Home, 208 Fourth Ave. NW.

The business meeting is open to the public with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. The registration fee for the meeting is $15 per person and includes lunch and morning break refreshments.
