The Hormel Institute, University of Minnesota-Mayo Clinic, will host a monthly summer open house Thursday that includes a tour and information about its world-renowned cancer research in Austin.

Members of the public are invited to attend the free open house at any time between 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Hormel Institute, 801 16th Ave. NE. The entrance is at the Institute’s west, main lobby.
