Tyler Nelson had four hits as the Hayfield Heat edged out Waseca 6-3 on the road Wednesday night.

Hayfield (8-6 overall, 7-2 Twin Rivers) scattered 11 hits and it scored three runs in the top of the fourth to take the lead for good.

Aaron Krejci picked up the win on the mound and Shawn Palmer came in to get the save by pitching the last three innings.
