Veva Vaune McCown Tigner, 89, of Austin, died Saturday, July 9, 2011, at the Cedars of Austin where she resided.

Service: Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at the First United Methodist Church with the Reverend Marilee A. Benson officiating.

Visitation: Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.

Funeral Home: Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the music department of the First United Methodist Church or to the donor’s choice.
