The National Weather Service-La Crosse issued a flash flood warning for parts of Mower County Thursday afternoon.

At 3:37 p.m., the NWS reported a slow moving thunderstorm with very heavy rainfall across northern Mower County and southern Dodge County.

The heaviest rainfalls were reported in Adams, Grand Meadow and Brownsdale. According to the NWS, Brownsdale may have received more than 2 inches in an hour.

The NWS warns not to drive into areas where water covers the roadway.
