Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin welcomes Dr. Mark Imig, child and adolescent psychiatrist to the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology. Imig received his medical degree at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and completed residency training at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester.

Imig, originally from Plano, Texas, has lived in Rochester for the past five years with his wife, Mira, and said he is excited to work in Austin.

“I’m looking forward to providing exceptional patient care and education to my patients and their families,” Imig said. “Being a part of the Mayo Clinic system is of great value to patients and I look forward to fulfilling our mission of the needs of the patients come first.”
