Scholarship Winners:

Presenting checks to the Young Women in Pubic Affairs Award winners is President Debi Irish and Mary Jo Follmuth YWPA chair. This years award winners are: Stephanie Kocer and Audrey Ferris from Austin Catholic Schools and Ashley Follmuth from Austin High School. The winners informed the Zonta members what they would be using the scholarship money for and where they plan to attend school in the fall.

Service Fund Awards:

The Zonta Club of Austin presented checks from the Service Fund to local organizations. Recipients were: Abby Wangen – March of Dimes, Nancy Hoversten – Blankets for Birthing Unit & Pediatrics, Jake Vila – Welcome Center, Elaine Hansen – Mower County Chapter of the American Red Cross, Janice Mino, 2-GED Scholarships, Cheryl Retterath – Relay for Life, Terry Taylor – Friends of the Nature Center and Barry Irish –

Freeborn – Mower Habitat for Humanity. Other recipients not pictured were: Victims Crisis Center, Seibel Visitation Center, Girl Scouts, Katrina Carolan and Nepal Social Service Fund.
