Congressman Tim Walz is inviting southern Minnesotans to join him Monday, June 27, for town hall meetings in Rochester and Winona on the federal deficit.

The town halls will be fully interactive, offering attendees the ability to decide how to balance the budget and reduce the deficit.

“Serious conversations about how to reduce spending and create a secure fiscal future for all Americans are happening across the country,” Walz said. “These town halls will give Minnesotans a hands-on opportunity to make decisions about federal spending, build consensus amongst their neighbors, and provide me with feedback on how we can work together to balance the budget and ensure more people can achieve the American dream in years to come.”
