Senior Center to host seminar on Parkinson’s

In an effort to raise public awareness of Parkinson’s disease, The Albert Lea Senior Citizen Center is hosting a free seminar 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Individuals living with Parkinson’s or their family members are encouraged to join.
The event features speakers from the nationally recognized Struthers Parkinson’s Center. They will provide updates on breakthroughs, treatment, symptoms and ways to cope with the disease.
The project is a collaborative project with the Albert Lea Parkinson’s Support Group, Struthers Parkinsons’s Center and the Parkinson Association of Minnesota.
