The memorial service for Robert (Bob) John Forest Woollard of rural Alden, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea.

The Rev. Kent Otterman will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea and one hour prior to service.

Robert died Thursday, May 12, 2011, at the Albert Lea Medical Center. He was 68 years old.

Robert was born Aug. 5, 1942, in Albert Lea, to Robert M. and Barbara (Scherb) Woollard. He has been a lifetime Freeborn County resident and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1960. He was a member of the Lutheran faith. He was married to Gloria Morrison on Oct. 26, 1968, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. Robert worked for Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store, Pieper’s Western Store, Red Owl Grocery Store, Ells Fine Foods, Superfair Grocery Store and Ventura Foods. Robert belonged to the Sunset Saddle Club and the Food Workers Union. He enjoyed working and riding his tractor, restoring old tractors, horses and gardening. Most of all he enjoyed being with his family and especially his grandchildren.

Robert is survived by his wife, Gloria Woollard of rural Alden; three children: John Woollard and his wife, Theresa, of Elgin, James Woollard of rural Alden, and Peter Woollard and his significant other, Lindsey Owen, of Owatonna; grandchildren: Aidan and Althea, Vanessa, Diamond, Ulrich, Liam and Pierce; sister: Elizabeth Baker of Albert Lea; niece and nephew: Michael Baker and Jolene Baker of Rochester; aunt: Amanda Kennedy of Albert Lea; mother-in-law: Emily Morrison of Litchfield; sister-in-law: Charlene Tancabel of Litchfield.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents: Robert M. and Barbara Woollard; father-in-law: Howard Morrison and brother-in-law: Richard Morrison.
