Vicki Legried, center, and Reenie Hogan, left, present a check for a $6,000 to Kris Heichel Friday to help with bills related to Heichel's battle with breast cancer. The total is money raised through a benefit held on April 30 of this year combined with a matching $2,500 sum from the Modern Woodman. The fundraiser itself consisted of a "Seats for Sista" auction with benefit dinner and music provided by Steve Smith.
