Elwin E. Williams, 96, of Dexter, MN died March 22, 2011, in Florida.

Graveside services for Elwin E. Williams will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011, at the Dexter Cemetery, Dexter, Minn. Mr Williams was born Aug. 9, 1914, in Dexter. He served as an airplane inspector in the Army Air Force during World War II, he was stationed in San Diego, Calif. Elwin remained in California until 1984 when he returned to Dexter.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Frances E. (Hodgson) Williams of Dexter; daughter, Francie E. Rule of Lakeland, Fla., three grandchildren, Thomas Rule and Tiffany Rule both of Lakeland, Fla., and Tana Rule of San Diego, Calif.; two great grandchildren, Payton Carroll and Ryleigh Guskey both of Lakeland; three siblings, Donald Williams and Calvin Williams both of Rochester, Minn., and Shirley Breer of Iowa City, Iowa. Hindt Funeral Home of Grand Meadow is in charge of arrangements.
