Dr. Gary Paul Brandeland, 56, M.D. of Burnsville, died May 29, 2011 at his home.

Gary was born Oct.16, 1954, to Harold and Marilyn Brandeland, who were longtime residents of Austin. Gary attended the University of Minnesota Medical School in Duluth and was employed by North Memorial Clinic in Elk River. He especially enjoyed music and reading.
Survivors include: daughters, Lindsey Martin of Russellville, Ky., Megan Brandeland of Minneapolis; sister, Pam Jacobson of Austin; brother, Bruce Brandeland of Plano, Texas; life partner, Darlene Dulaney of Burnsville; and grandson, Carson Mac Martin.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 2, at White Funeral Home in Burnsville. White Funeral Home 12804 Nicollet Ave. Burnsville, MN, is in charge of arrangements.
