Cooking class at Hormel Historic Home

A new Hormel home cooking class is just around the corner.
The next “Cooking Tips and Trends” session is Wednesday, June 8, 6-9 p.m. at the Hormel Historic Home, 208 Fourth Ave. NW in Austin.
The event – “Produce on the Grill and Beyond” – features jack Irwin, executive chef at The Cedars. Irwin will offer many exciting new menu items, especially geared to summertime dining.
Cost is $15 per person.
The vendor expo and Farmers’ Market will be in the Hormel Historical Home 5-6 p.m. The class session will also feature a special segment with the Farmers’ Market new staff member Heidi Harrabi. There will once again be sampling and a souvenir program with all the evening’s recipes, tips and wine pairings inside. Tickets will be available at the door for $17.
