The Austin boys track and field team took fourth out of four teams at the Owatonna Invite, but it did have some solid individual performances.

Cole Adams took second in the 300-meter hurdles in his first time competing in the event, Max Gillen took second in the 400-meter dash, and freshman Andrew Hagan took fourth in the discus with a distance of 129 feet, .5 inches.

“It was nice to get a meet where we had good weather because this is a young team that needs the experience,” Austin head coach Tony Einertson said.
