Local favorite Tammy Schneider is offering an intermediate acrylic painting workshop on Saturday, June 11 in the Community Room in Oak Park Mall.

Workshop hours are 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a one-hour break for lunch. The cost of the workshop will be $65, and 12 x 16 canvas panels will be available for purchase for the class at the art center for $5.

Schneider is an award-winning artist whose subjects and techniques are easily recognized. Many of her subjects involve horses, animals, dogs and other animals as well as people. The subtle notes of color and overall tone in her paintings add a depth of quality not often seen.
