A 3-year-old from Blooming Prairie was hit by a golf cart Saturday night at Jellystone Campground.

Cannon Isreal Wacek was struck by the golf cart, driven by a Rose Creek woman, around 8:30 p.m. Saturday. He was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin by ambulance and then to Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester as a precaution, Sheriff Terese Amazi said.

Wacek suffered a cut and slight bleeding from his chin. No charges have been filed against the Rose Creek woman.
