Mower County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a vandalism incident in Rose Creek.

Sheriff Terese Amazi said purple spray paint was found on the elementary school, play ground equipment near the school and the Post Office.

The vandalism allegedly occurred over the weekend and was reported Monday morning.

Amazi said the investigation is continuing.
