Two men are in custody at the Mower County jail after an alleged assault in LeRoy early Thursday morning.

Sheriff Terese Amazi said the two men were arrested after allegedly beating up another man. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. Thursday morning.

The two men are being held in the jail until they are charged.

The victim did not seek medical assistance at the time of the incident. Amazi said there is a chance he could still go to the hospital to be checked out.

Amazi would not release any further details of the assault.
