Stephen C. Indrelie, formerly of Albert Lea, fifth child of Agnes, formerly Donnelly, and Hans Indrelie died Friday, April 8, 2011, at the age of 60 after a lengthy illness. He was a lover of children, chocolate and SPAM. He is the father of Lauri and Michael, Perth, Australia and his daughter Sarah, Waukesha, Wis. He is the grandfather of Chloe, Levi and Dakota and is also survived by his former wife, Noella Favory.

He will be missed by his sisters: Margaret Snaza, Mary Janawak and Kay Guildner and his brother, Jim Indrelie, all formerly of Albert Lea.

Steve’s early career was in the U.S. Navy for nine years which took him to Australia where he met his wife. After returning to the states Steve got a degree in education and took up teaching the fourth grade in Pardeeville, Wis., where he taught for 20 years.

He spent his last two years in hospice and the family is grateful for the love and support of his hospice caregivers from Southern Care.

Services will be held on Saturday at the Pardeeville Elementary School Gym. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by the service and military honors.
