Rebels beat Saint Charles 6-1

The Southland baseball team won its seventh straight game with a strong finish in a 6-1 win at Saint Charles (3-5 overall) Friday.

The Rebels (7-0 overall, 7-0 Three Rivers) scored two runs in the sixth and two in the seventh to put it away.

“We started off a little sluggish in the first few innings, but we woke up in the last three innings,” Southland head coach Scott Retterath said.
