The Blooming Prairie softball team opened its season with an 11-0 win in five innings over Faribault Bethlehem Academy (0-1 overall, 0-1 Gopher) in BP Thursday.

The Awesome Blossoms (1-0 overall, 1-0 Gopher) opened the third inning with four straight hits and they went on to score eight in that frame.
