Austin Medical Center is holding its annual Women in Health workshop on Saturday, April 30 at the Historic Hormel Home in Austin. The workshop begins at 9 a.m. with a welcome by David Agerter, M.D., CEO at Austin Medical Center.

The 2011 workshop will feature speakers from Austin Medical Center, as well as Theresa Rose, a national motivational humorist and award-winning author of “Opening the Kimono: A Woman’s Intimate Journey Through Life’s Biggest Challenges.”

“In addition to helping participants identify those things (or people) that deplete their energy, I also provide practical, easy-to-implement mojo boosting techniques that will get rid of the blahs and get to the bliss once and for all,” Rose said.
