Bruins top Bismarck 3-1

The Austin Bruins killed seven powerplays and had a big second period in a 3-1 win over Bismarck (27-18-4 overall) in Riverside Arena Friday.

The Bruins (20-25-3 overall) got goals from Cody Hotchkin, Chris Fischer and Mike Adamowicz in the second to take a 3-0 lead.

Austin goalie Keegan Asmundson stopped 23 of the 24 shots he saw in net.
