Bruins drop two

The Austin Bruins lost 3-1 at Bismarck (30-18-4 overall) Saturday and fell 7-2 at Alexandria (28-18-5 overall) Sunday.

Against the Bobcats, The Bruins (20-28-3 overall) trailed 3-0 before Jack Walsh scored in the third period.

Keegan Asmundson stopped 42 of 45 shots for Austin, which attempted 43 shots on goal.

Against Alexandria the Bruins were out-shot 46-19 as the Blizzard scored the first four goals of the game.

Austin’s Sam Olson scored a powerplay goal in the second and Jordan Greenberg added a powerplay score in the third period.

AJ Underwood had 39 saves for the Bruins.
