Aberdeen tops Austin in a shootout

After nine straight players missed on a shootout attempt, CJ Pullar found the back of the net and gave Aberdeen (19-34-4 overall) a 5-4 shootout victory over Austin in Aberdeen Friday.

All five of the Bruins’ shooters came up empty in the shootout.

The Bruins (22-30-4 overall) trailed 4-3 in regulation when John Kirby tied things up with unassisted goal with 5:45 left in the third period.

Keegan Asmundson stopped 37 of the 41 shots he saw for Austin.
