The Riverland women’s basketball team closed out its season with a 77-68 loss at Fergus Falls Saturday.

The Blue Devils (13-11 overall, 7-6 MCAC South) finished fifth in their conference and missed out on the postseason.

RCC was plagued by foul trouble in the loss as Krista Viehauser and Kenzie Martin each picked up three fouls in the first five minutes. Viehauser fouled out in 16 minutes of play.

Krissy Schemmel had 17 points and five three-pointers for RCC and Brooke Rosenstiel had 17 points, six assists and four steals.

RCC was eliminated from the postseason before the game as Rochester beat Fergus Falls last Wednesday.
