The Hayfield boys basketball team snapped a three game losing streak when it beat Blue Earth (6-13 overall) 73-59 on the road Saturday.

Hayfield (15-8 overall) led by as many as 24 in the first half, but Blue Earth cut it to nine a couple of times in the second half.

“It could have been easier, but we answered a lot of their runs,” Hayfield head coach Chris Pack said.

Sophomore forward Brady Kramer had 18 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and four blocks for the Vikings and freshman point guard Cole Kruger had 18 points, nine rebounds and five assists.
