The Austin boys swimming and diving team took ninth in the Big Nine Invite in Albert Lea Saturday.

Austin swimmers Michael Thorsheim, a senior, and Nick Brehmer, a sophomore, were named to the All-Big Nine team at the meet. Thorsheim took third in the 200-yard individual medley and fourth in the 100-yard butterfly and Brehmer took third in the 100-yard freestyle and fifth in the 200-yard freestyle.

Austin had 154 points as a team and Rochester Century won the meet with 455. Mankato West was second with 280 points.
