The Hayfield boys basketball team didn’t have enough size to keep up with Rochester Lourdes in a 62-52 loss in Rochester Friday.

The Vikings (11-5 overall, 3-4 HVL Gold) allowed an 8-0 run early and they trailed for the rest of the night.

“We couldn’t get a big run, but we were always within striking distance,” Hayfield head coach Chris Pack said.
