The Austin girls hockey team was shutout by Rochester John Marshall 4-0 on the road Thursday.

JM freshman goalie Mia Brusewitz stopped all 26 of the shots she saw from the Packers (5-15-1 overall, 1-10-1 Big Nine).

“She was like a vacuum cleaner out there,” Austin head coach Denny Bray said. “We were kind of on our heels in the first period, but we out-played them in the second.”

JM scored three goals off of Sam LeBarron in the first period and Allison Hoban held the Rockets to one goal in the last two periods.
