Packer boys fall to Cougars

The Austin boys basketball team lost at Mankato East 51-44 Tuesday.

For the second straight game, the Packers (3-6 overall, 3-2 Big Nine) launched over 25 threes as they finished 7-for-29 on perimeter looks.

“We’re shooting way too many threes and we’re not making shots,” Austin head coach Kris Fadness said. “We’ve got to pound it inside more often.”Brady Ziegler paced the Cougars (4-6 overall, 3-2 Big Nine) with 24 points.
