The Austin boys hockey team lost 11-0 at Rochester Mayo (8-10 overall, 6-3 Big Nine) Thursday.

The Packers (3-15 overall, 1-7 Big Nine) trailed just 2-0 after the first period, but couldn’t stay close.

“We played pretty well in the first period, but after that we didn’t have any fight left in us,” Austin head coach Tim Peterson said.

Mayo out-shot Austin 45-17.
