Mark Greenwood, age 44, of Grand Meadow died Wednesday Jan. 5, 2011.

Funeral services for Mark G. Greenwood will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 11, 2011, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Spring Valley with the Rev Dennis Timmerman and Rev Laura Fladten officiating. Visitation will be held Monday January 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Hindt Funeral Home in Grand Meadow and 1hr prior to the service at the church.

He was born Jan. 27, 1966, in Rochester to Garry D. and Mary (Tlougan) Greenwood He graduated from John Marshall High School. After his graduation he became a master mechanic working for Hanson Tire before owning his own business, Thompson Auto Body of Racine. Mark was united in marriage to Christine Rudlong on March 21, 1987, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Spring Valley. They were married for 20 years and had 5 children together.

He is survived by his children James, Sara, Elizabeth Cory and Christopher all of Grand Meadow, parents: Gary (Carol) Greenwood of Arizona and Mary (Robert “Butch”) Benike of Rochester, sisters: Gena (Mike) Hines of California, and Gail (Steve) Hermanson of Rochester and a brother Bradley Benike of Rochester.

He was preceded in death by a brother Robert Benike.
