The Lyle/Pacelli girls basketball team used defensive pressure to beat LeRoy/Ostrander (3-12 overall, 3-7 SEC) 64-49 in Pacelli Gym Tuesday.

Freshman guard Ann Rysavy had 25 points, four steals and six rebounds to lead the Athletics (9-4 overall, 9-2 SEC).

“Ann got some steals and transition buckets to get us going and we got a lot of easy buckets,” L/P head coach Brad Walter said.

Madison Truckenmiller had 10 points and eight rebounds and Nyabang Diang had 14 points and eight steals for L/P.
