The Austin Bruins moved out of last place for the first time in weeks when they shoutout first place Owatonna (23-15-5 overall) 2-0 in Riverside Arena Friday.

Cory Ellis scored in the first period and Sam Olson knocked in a powerplay goal in the second for the Bruins (13-20-3 overall).

AJ Underwood picked up the shutout win in his first start in net.
