Austin boys hockey team beats Sleepy Eye

The Austin boys hockey team scored two power play goals in the third period to put away Sleepy Eye (4-4 overall) 5-3 on the road Tuesday.
Jaret Retterath gave Austin (2-8 overall) the lead for good with a goal in the first three minutes of the third period and Marcus Stoulil scored his second goal of the night to make it 5-3.
“Our effort the whole game was key,” Austin head coach Tim Peterson said. “When we were playing them five-on-five we completely dominated the game and we capitalized on our power plays.”
Preston Moe and Ethan Larson also had goals for the Packers, who had 39 shots on goal, and Rainer Londino-Green had 18 saves. Conor Petersen, Josh Hart, Larson and Devin McCune each had assists for Austin.
