The LeRoy/Ostrander boys basketball team lost its season opener to Zumbrota/Mazeppa 94-24 in LeRoy Saturday.

The Cardinals (0-1 overall) kept the score tied at for the first four minutes of the game, but Z/M (2-0 overall) eventually pulled away.

“They’re probably the best team we’ll play all year,” L/O head coach Jason Jude said.
