Victor Jensen, 98, of Adams, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at Our House Care Center, Austin.

Victor was born Feb. 16, 1912, in Morgan Township, Franklin County, Iowa to Chris and Anna (Pederson) Jensen. He attended public school in Sandstone. Victor was an International Harvester mechanic at Osmundson Brothers Implement for 30 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams. Victor’s hobbies included working on antique engines and lawnmowers, gardening and lawn work, bird watching, reading and his daily walks to downtown Adams.

Victor is survived by his daughter, Carol (Lowell) Foster, Austin; stepson, Eugene (Judy) Kloeckner, Eden Prairie; grandchildren: Cory Kloeckner, Kim (Jason) Stauffer, Kristen Foster (fiancé, Luke Green) and Kelly Foster (special friend, Garrett Erstad); great-grandchildren: Noah, Zachary, Lexi, Emma, and Sydney; sister’s-in-law and brother-in-law: Julaine and Lud Wencl, Owatonna; Elaine Kloeckner, Adams; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela; parents, Chris and Anna and brothers: Sigfred, Herman, William, and Ervin.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams, Father Thomas Loomis and Father Martin Schaefer officiating. Interment will be at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the Adams Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursday. There will be a 4 p.m. Rosary Service on Wednesday at the Adams Funeral Home.

The family prefers memorials to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church or to the Austin Medical Center Foundation.
