Suspected drunken driver hits idled car, 1 killed

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. — The Minnesota State Patrol says a man whose car stalled along the interstate in a Twin Cities suburb was struck and killed early Friday by a suspected drunken driver.
The patrol says an SUV driven by a 49-year-old woman rear-ended the man’s car about 1 a.m. along I-35E in Mendota Heights. A passenger in the disabled car was injured.
KSTP-TV says the woman was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk.
