The Grand Meadow girls basketball team couldn’t compete with the front-runners in the SEC conference as they fell to Spring Grove (6-0 overall, 4-0 SEC) by a score of 76-33 in in GM Friday.

The Lions led 54-16 at the half and they had had four players score at least 15 points.

“We played hard, they are just so quick and athletic with a strong bench,” GM head coach Dawn Baudoin said.

Hillary Churchill led GM (0-3 overall, 0-2 SEC) with 10 points.
