The season is ripe for the picking with events for the young and young at heart.

If you haven’t yet been to see Michael Veldman and Friends “Special Delivery,” this weekend is the very last time to take it in with final productions at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18 at the Historic Paramount Theatre. Tickets are $12.

Christ Episcopal Church is hosting a free community meal from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18. All are welcome to come and enjoy a freshly prepared hot meal. This free community meal takes place the third Saturday of each month.

Alice in Wonderland will be presented by Bridget’s Dance Conservatory at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18, as well, in the Austin High School Auditorium.
