The Riverland men’s basketball team hit the boards in a 78-68 win over Itasca in Riverland Gym Saturday.

The Blue Devils (4-5 overall) won the board battle 53-35 and they started the second half with an 8-0 run that allowed them to lead by as many as 21 points.

DeAaron Hearn, a sophomore from Minneapolis led RCC with 27 points, and Richard Burch had six points and 11 rebounds.
